Anti-Spam Policy

Last Updated: July 2026
On this page

US Bangla Tribune is committed to responsible email practices. This Anti-Spam Policy explains how we manage our newsletters and email communications and how we comply with anti-spam laws, including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act, Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and the European Union’s GDPR.

1. Our Commitment

We have a zero-tolerance approach to spam. We never send unsolicited bulk email, and we do not buy, sell, rent, or trade email lists. Every message we send is intended only for people who have chosen to hear from us and is designed to be genuinely useful.

2. What We Consider Spam

We consider a message to be spam if it is sent to a person who has not consented to receive it, uses false or misleading sender information or subject lines, conceals the identity of the sender, or is sent to addresses collected through harvesting, scraping, or purchased lists. We do not engage in any of these practices.

3. How We Build Our List

We add people to our newsletter list only when they ask to join — for example, by entering their email address in a subscription form on our website. Where appropriate, we use confirmed (double) opt-in, sending a confirmation email before any newsletter is delivered. We never add addresses that were purchased, scraped, or obtained from third parties.

4. What Every Email Includes

Every marketing or newsletter email we send includes a clear identification of US Bangla Tribune as the sender, an accurate and non-deceptive subject line, a valid postal mailing address, and a working unsubscribe link. We honor all unsubscribe requests promptly.

5. Tracking in Emails

Our emails may contain small tracking pixels and tagged links that tell us, in aggregate, whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this only to measure engagement and improve our content. We do not use email tracking to build detailed personal profiles, and we do not sell this information.

6. Unsubscribing

You can stop receiving our emails at any time by (1) clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any newsletter, (2) using the preference or unsubscribe page on our website, or (3) emailing us at editor@usbanglatribune.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. Requests are processed promptly, after which you will stop receiving marketing emails. You may still receive essential service messages related to any account you hold.

7. Reporting Abuse

If you receive an email that appears to come from US Bangla Tribune but that you believe is spam, fraudulent, or was sent without consent, please report it to us at editor@usbanglatribune.com so we can investigate. Scammers sometimes forge ("spoof") sender addresses; reporting helps us protect our readers.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Anti-Spam Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
