DHAKA, April 2026 – Since its founding in 2025, the Building Resilient Individuals & Communities (BRIC) Foundation has rapidly emerged as a cornerstone of grassroots development in Bangladesh. Composed of a diverse group of dedicated volunteers, this non-profit, non-governmental organization is tackling some of the nation’s most pressing challenges through a multifaceted approach to humanitarian aid.
The foundation’s mission is centered on six strategic pillars designed to foster sustainable growth and long-term resilience:
• Sanitation and Housing: Improving quality of life by providing clean water projects and modern housing for those in need.
• Education: Funding student support programs and improving educational infrastructure to empower the next generation.
• Entrepreneurship Development: Fostering self-sufficiency through small business support initiatives, including recent grants for local grocery stores and startups.
• Environmental Development: Leading large-scale green initiatives, such as the major tree plantation drive in Satkhira, which saw over 1,5000 saplings planted to combat climate change.
• Social & Community Help: Providing immediate relief through winter blanket distributions, Ramadan food aid, and support for those injured in social movements.
In the past year alone, the BRIC Foundation has scaled its operations significantly. Highlights include the launch of the third phase of their "Housing for Needy" program and the ongoing expansion of their Small Business Support Program, which has become a lifeline for aspiring local entrepreneurs.
