A meeting to review the implementation progress of the Annual Revised Development Programme (RADP) for April 2026 of the 2025–26 fiscal year was held today at 11:00 AM in the conference room of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

Speaking as the chief guest at the meeting, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Afroza Khanam, MP, stated that according to the directives of the Honorable Prime Minister of the current government, the remaining work of all ongoing projects must be completed within the shortest possible time.

She said that before undertaking any new projects in the aviation and tourism sectors in the future, their financial feasibility must be properly evaluated. The Minister further emphasized that having a well-planned action strategy before constructing any infrastructure or facility is extremely important. At the same time, the concerned authorities must play a more cautious and responsible role in monitoring the progress of contractors’ work.

The Minister noted that all concerned must remain vigilant and responsible to ensure that the benefits of projects implemented with public funds are truly returned to the people. She stressed that ensuring transparency and accountability in project implementation is অত্যন্ত essential. To achieve this, she instructed all levels to maintain strict supervision throughout the implementation process.

The meeting was chaired by Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Ms. Fahmida Akhtar, NDC. Among others present were Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, Air Vice Marshal Mostafa Mahmud Siddique, along with senior officials of the Ministry and CAAB, and directors of various ongoing projects.
