State Minister for Land Barrister Mir Helal Spreads Eid Joy at the Grassroots, Pledges to Build a Peaceful, Equitable, and Harmonious Hathazari

Chattogram and Hathazari, May 29, 2026:

In a unique initiative to celebrate the holy Eid-ul-Adha, State Minister responsible for the Ministry of Land and the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, and Central Co-Organizing Secretary (Chattogram Division) of BNP, Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, MP, brought smiles to the faces of underprivileged and financially struggling party workers who were unable to perform Qurbani this year due to economic hardship.

On the second day of Eid, Friday, he distributed sacrificial meat, Eid gift packages, and copies of the Holy Qur’an among disadvantaged party activists and supporters after the slaughter of 40 cattle, funded through his personal resources and contributions from various organizations. His compassionate and exceptional initiative deeply moved local grassroots leaders and activists.

The gifts were distributed at five different locations across Chattogram Metropolitan Area and Hathazari among underprivileged men and women. The program commenced in the morning from his residence, “Dalia Kunj,” on Chatteswari Road in Chattogram city. The morning distribution activities were coordinated by Shariful Islam Tuhin, Member Secretary of Chattogram Metropolitan Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.

In the afternoon, similar distributions of sacrificial meat and Eid gifts took place at Mir Bari in Mirerkhil, Hathazari. Joining the State Minister in this humanitarian effort were his wife, Nawshin Arjan Helal, and their sons.

A discussion meeting was also held at the Mirerkhil Government Primary School field in Hathazari to mark the occasion. The event was chaired by Mahmudul Hasan Fahad, Chairman of Adamcare Foundation. State Minister Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin attended as the chief guest and delivered the keynote address.

In his speech, the State Minister said, “Serving humanity is the primary objective of our politics. My family has long been dedicated to the welfare of ordinary and hardworking people. Eid-ul-Adha teaches us the values of sacrifice and solidarity. We aspire to create a society where every individual can celebrate Eid and all other festivals together in an atmosphere of peace, equality, and harmony. No discrimination or financial hardship should diminish the joy of Eid for ordinary people.”

Referring to the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the State Minister further stated, “Our leader, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, is working tirelessly to improve the lives of the poor, the underprivileged, and people from all walks of life in Bangladesh. Under his guidance, we are committed to ensuring good governance and citizens’ rights reach every doorstep. Securing economic emancipation and social dignity for every citizen remains the driving force of the current government.”

Calling upon affluent members of society to engage in humanitarian and community development activities, Barrister Mir Helal said, “I urge you to come forward in support of humanitarian causes and strengthen my hands. Together, we can build a disciplined, peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous Hathazari.”

Special guests at the event included Nawshin Arjan Helal, visionary and chief coordinator of Adamcare Foundation and spouse of the State Minister, and Maulana Mir Mohammad Idris. Following the discussion meeting, the chief guest and members of his family personally distributed sacrificial meat, copies of the Holy Qur’an, and Eid gifts among the attendees.
