Bangladesh were bowled out for 272 in their first innings against the West Indies on Thursday, the second day of the Mirpur Test. The Bangladesh vs West Indies cricket scorecard shows the hosts lost their last seven wickets for 59 runs after resuming at 213 for three.
The collapse at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka gave away much of the platform built by opener Shadman Islam's century on the first day, according to Prothom Alo English.
West Indies spinner Jomel Warrican finished with five for 53. Bangladesh also faced uncertainty over Litton Das, who injured a finger while batting as the visitors prepared to start their reply after lunch.
How the Mirpur Test innings came apart on day two
Najmul Hossain Shanto's side began the morning on 213 for three, with Litton on 10. The first wicket of the day fell with the total on 221, Prothom Alo English reported, and the remaining wickets followed in quick succession.
The 59-run figure for the last seven wickets is counted from the overnight score of 213, as Prothom Alo English reported it. The slide itself began with the fall of the fourth wicket at 221, and the outlet described what followed as a dramatic slide.
The innings ended after 97.4 overs. Warrican took the final wicket when he dismissed Shoriful Islam, which completed his five-wicket haul.
Litton batted through the collapse and finished unbeaten on 34. He had started the day on 10 but, according to Prothom Alo English, got little support from the other end as the innings unravelled.
Bangladesh vs West Indies cricket score: Shadman Islam century leads the card
Shadman top-scored with 105, the only century in the innings. Towhid Hridoy made 42, the next highest score, and Litton's unbeaten 34 came third.
Mominul Haque scored 28, Najmul made 19 and Mehidy Hasan Miraz added 15. Prothom Alo English did not list the remaining batters' scores.
The first-innings figures, as reported by Prothom Alo English:

- Shadman Islam 105
- Towhid Hridoy 42
- Litton Das 34 not out
- Mominul Haque 28
- Najmul Hossain Shanto 19

- West Indies bowling: Jomel Warrican 5/53, Bishop 2/61, Joseph 2/41
Who took five wickets for the West Indies in the Mirpur Test?
Warrican led the West Indies attack. His five for 53 made him the visitors' most successful and most economical bowler among those whose figures were reported.
Bishop and Joseph took two wickets each. Bishop conceded 61 runs and Joseph 41.
Those three bowlers account for nine of the ten Bangladesh wickets. Prothom Alo English's report does not say how the remaining wicket fell.
The report also did not say which Test of the series this is or give the series standing.
Is Litton Das injured?
Litton hurt a finger while batting, Prothom Alo English reported. He had only recently returned from an earlier injury before this match.
The report gave no details on how serious the new injury is, and there was no official word on whether he would keep wicket in the West Indies innings.
Jaker Ali was seen practising wicketkeeping on the field in his match kit, according to Prothom Alo English. That points to a possible stand-in behind the stumps, but no change had been confirmed.
The West Indies were due to begin their first innings after the lunch interval. Whether Litton takes the gloves when they do is the immediate question for Bangladesh.
