Dhaka Cumilla elevated railway plan would cut Chattogram trip by two hours, cost Tk 839bn
The 81-km fully elevated cord line from Shyampur to Cumilla would shorten the Dhaka–Chattogram rail journey by 80 kilometres. But the government has yet to decide whether the entire line will be elevated, or how to pay for it.
