Chittagong port tobacco seized: 150 tons from Pakistan flagged for under-invoicing
Customs intelligence says the importer declared the raw tobacco at US$1 and 45 cents per kg, while goods under the same HS code are assessed at US$5 and 10 cents per kg. The agency also warned that weak tracking of bonded tobacco creates duty-evasion risk at every stage.
