Qatar has begun gradually reopening its airspace, allowing foreign airlines to resume operations following a period of disruption caused by regional conflict and security concerns.

According to the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, international carriers are now being permitted to restart flights into Doha’s Hamad International Airport, with all operations subject to strict safety and security standards. Authorities emphasized that the phased reopening is designed to ensure the protection of passengers, crew, and aviation infrastructure.

The move comes after weeks of widespread airspace closures across the Gulf region, which led to the suspension of most commercial flights and forced airlines to operate only limited evacuation or repatriation services.

Industry reports indicate that airlines are now progressively rebuilding flight schedules, although full normalization is expected to take time due to ongoing geopolitical risks and logistical challenges.

Qatar’s reopening marks a significant step toward restoring regional air connectivity, as aviation authorities continue to monitor the situation and adjust operations in line with international safety guidelines.
