Bangladesh bank credit bypasses climate vulnerable districts, Dhaka takes two-thirds
Bangladesh Bank figures show depositors in Satkhira, Patuakhali and Sunamganj put far more money into banks than banks lend in those districts. The gap comes weeks before COP31 climate talks focus on whether vulnerable countries should borrow to cope.
